About Us

Because families trust me with their stories and experiences, I believe it’s important to share who I am and what guides my practice.

About Ashleigh

My practice is built on a simple belief, every story deserves the chance to reach its potential. This value has shaped my work since I first entered the disability field in 2014 as a support worker while completing my Bachelor of Disability and Developmental Education. Since graduating, I’ve worked as a Developmental Educator across a range of organisations, supporting individuals of all ages, in home, school and community settings. My inspiration to enter this field began early. My mum worked as an Early Childhood Worker (ECW) and School Services Officer (SSO) for as long as I can remember, and I grew up hearing her stories and watching the impact she had on the children she supported. On pupil free days, I would see firsthand how her care, patience, and belief in each child made a difference and I also saw her frustration when her insights weren’t listened to, leading to unnecessary challenges for her students. Those moments stayed with me and shaped the practitioner I strive to be. I am committed to person-centered practice, always placing the needs of the individual at the forefront and considering what they require to thrive in their environments. My approach is grounded in empathy, respect, and collaboration, and I am deeply dedicated to empowering individuals and their families through meaningful, strengths-based support. After working within various organisations, I made the decision to become a sole trader so I could offer truly individualised, flexible, and values driven support. Stepping into sole trading also means I’m no longer bound by KPIs, allowing me to focus on each person as an individual rather than a number. This allows me to provide support that genuinely reflects their needs rather than organisational targets. Creating QuestAbility Support has allowed me to align my practice with what matters most to me, genuine connection, transparency, and empowering individuals to thrive in the environments that are important to them.

About Anchal

I am a Developmental Educator and Rehabilitation Counsellor working on Kaurna land who enjoys working alongside individuals to build confidence, insight, and practical tools to participate in life in ways that feel meaningful to them. At the heart of my work, I focus on understanding the whole person, their strengths, interests, environment, emotional needs, communication style, experiences, goals, and the things that help them feel safe, understood and capable. I particularly enjoy supporting adolescents, young and older adults as they navigate the messy, exciting, and important parts of growing up/adulthood. This may include building a sense of identity, understanding introspection, relationships, communication, psychological health, routines, employment, self-advocacy, and finding their place in the world.

My practice is person-centred, trauma-informed, strengths-based, and neuro-affirming. I see support as collaborative - working with participants, families, and the multidisciplinary team to build the participant's agency, consistency, communication and safeguarding. One area of my practice I feel especially passionate about is supporting participants through conversations that can feel difficult, confronting, confusing, overwhelming or simply challenging to initiate. I aim to make topics such as puberty, consent, intimacy, healthy relationships, emotional wellbeing, safety, boundaries, identity and self-esteem accessible in ways that are respectful, age-appropriate, and guided by their readiness. Together, we can explore what feels hard, what feels important, what supports feel helpful, and how to move toward goals in ways that feel realistic and meaningful. No two people or sessions are ever the same, and honestly, that’s one of my favourite parts of work.

About Jarrid

Hi, I’m Jarrid. You won’t see me as often as Ash, but I’m usually somewhere in the background keeping things running smoothly. I help with admin, tech support, and all the little behind the scenes jobs that make QuestAbility Support feel organised and calm. I’m not the face of the practice, but you might see my name pop up from time to time, and when you do, just know I’m here to help things flow for Ash and the people she supports.
